There is so much that goes into a single piece of cloth. It bursts with care and patience. It quietly represents big love.  This drawing started small with a single over and under crosshatch. Over time, I drew more and more, watching the tiny lines grow into one mass, meant to resemble the woven grid. The lines are not perfect as my had failed me on occasion. These imperfections were joined again with a new line and left as an important part of the composition. These pieces were a meditation for me, a way to appreciate cloth in a deeper way.
